After covid break, Agrovision will start in Nagpur from Friday
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will be the chief guest in this program to be held from December 24 to 26.
Nagpur: Agrovision, an annual agricultural exhibition promoted by Nitin Gadkari, Union Transport Minister, will be held in the city after a gap of almost one year.
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will be the chief guest in this program to be held from December 24 to 26. And other guests include Minister of state for chemicals and fertilisers Bhagwanth Khuba and Union animal husbandry minister Parshottam Rupala. And during this program also former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Animal Husbandry Minister of this state Sudhir Kedar will also be present in it.
Along with this, a fair held every year at Reshimbagh Maidan is also organized by Agrovision Foundation. The Purti group promoted by Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari also supports this event.
The expired Agrovision Expo was held in November 2019 and then in the year 2020 there was a hiatus due to the dreaded epidemic of coronavirus.
Double vaccination certificates
Current regulations also allow events to be held in open spaces with an inflow of up to one-fourth of the area’s capacity.
The expo also usually attracts around 2 to 2.5 lakh people. However, this time also the number is expected to be limited to around 1 to 1.5 lakhs. An official of Agrovision’s foundation has said that other measures will also be followed under the coronavirus protocol.
For entrants also, there will be more emphasis on double covid vaccination certificates. Not much publicity has been done this year at all. Because of which the numbers are expected to be very less. The official has said that spraying will be done through drones in the brand new technologies to be displayed this year.
