Vice President praises Modi, says his mantra can inspire

Nagpur: Addressing the newly appointed IRS officers in Nagpur on Friday, Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu has praised PM Modi very much, saying that his performance is the mantra, Changes and reforms will also motivate him to make a big difference in the lives of all people.
Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu was also addressing the farewell ceremony of IRS officers who joined the Income Tax Department after passing out from the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT) here.
The VP has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also kept a vision for India@100. They also appeal to all to work towards making India a prosperous, developed, and very happy society.
He has also said that it is a matter of great pleasure that the government has also taken some measures in recent years to introduce a non-adversarial tax system. Along with this, the introduction of all new, updated returns in the budget to ensure compliance with voluntary tax is also positive. And the steps taken with the objective of reducing litigation are also much more commendable.
Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu has also said that the government is continuously working non-stop to ensure ease of doing business and ease of living in the country. It is commendable that over the years more than 25,000 compliances have been reduced and about 1,486 laws have been repealed. And all such redundant laws should also be repealed.
Along with this, India’s economic growth is also expected to be around 9.2% in the current financial year, which is the highest among very large economies, Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu said. The efforts of the government towards the development of technology-enabled are also very important. The Direct Benefit Transfer scheme is also a revolutionary reform.
