After death of patient, relatives filed a complaint of negligence against the doctors
The incident took place on Wednesday morning at RIMS Hospital, Badnera Road, Where Durga Sanjay Khandare was admitted on the date of 8 May for the treatment of a pinched vein in his neck.
Amravati: The Rajapeth Police has now started the investigation in the case of the death of a 39-year-old woman from Kurha village. The family alleges that the woman died due to the negligence of the doctors.
The incident took place on Wednesday morning at RIMS Hospital, Badnera Road, Where Durga Sanjay Khandare was admitted on the date of 8 May for the treatment of a pinched vein in his neck. Despite being a Kurha, she was a woman living in the area of Bichhu Tekdi for the last two months. After doing various tests on the date of May 9, the doctor operated on that woman. She did not regain consciousness at all after the operation was done till the evening of the same day. Due to excessive bleeding, his relatives also arranged blood for him.
In the interrogation done by the family members, the doctors got the answer that in such cases it takes a lot of time to regain consciousness. Then in the meantime, he was put on ventilator support. And then his CT scan and MRI were also done on the same basis that he had swelling in his brain.

Then when the woman was suffering from severe neck pain and bone problems, her family members asked the doctor the reason for the swelling in her brain. Then after the operation, the family members had also opposed her treatment, alleging that Durga’s health had deteriorated a lot.
On Thursday morning, doctors declared Durga dead after being on ventilator support for almost two days. Then the family members came to know about the same thing, then they got furious and then demanded to take action against the doctors for being negligent.
The Rajpeth police reached the hospital, listened to the family members, and then assured of an investigation into the matter. And under this, a complaint has also been lodged against the doctors at the Rajapeth police station. Along with this, the post-mortem has also been done in the District General Hospital, after which the body of Durga has also been handed over to her family members.
