The former Chief Minister has said that he is happy with the victory of Chandrashekar today and in fact, he is overjoyed at their success by his victory in the elections.
Nagpur: Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) double victory in MLC elections is a very loud slap on the face of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) constituents. He was talking to media persons on Tuesday during his visit to the city to congratulate Chandrashekar Bawankule on his own victory at the reception lawns of Civil Lines.
The former Chief Minister has said that he is very happy with the victory of Chandrashekar today. And in fact, he is overjoyed at their success by his victory in the elections. Vasant Khandewal has also won in the Washim-Akola-Buldhana constituency. This is just the beginning of the slide of Maha Vikas Aghadi in the state and he will not be able to win any election in the future without losing the confidence of the people.
Describing both the victories as decisive, Devendra has said that it has broken the myth of a three-party alliance that any election will win. They have won 4 seats out of 6 MLC’s local authority constituencies. And he also thanks party president JP Nadda, home minister Amit Shah, state president Chandrakant Dada Patil and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for trusting him.
Having said that Chandrashekar’s victory would start a new trend for the saffron party to win every future election, The MLA from South West Nagpur has said that the people of Maharashtra will continue to bless the party.
Victory Will Start New Trend
Elaborating on Chandrashekar’s gap of more than 2 years to return to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, The Bharatiya Janata Party leader has said that this is not a legislative difference at all, but a party. There are 2 big posts in any political party, General Secretary and President. And he was also offered a second place. Right now the return of Chandrashekar is his ‘Never Go Back’.
Speaking on former Bharatiya Janata Party councilor Ravindra Bhoyar, who had switched over to the Congress party and then left, Devendra went on to say that he made mistakes one after the other. First, they had joined the Congress, and then they were put in such a position that they voted for themselves, which was the only one they got.
He has also said that this is also at the highest level so far, which will benefit us in all future elections, And we will win next year’s civic elections also with a very big margin. The patil led party has already made preparations for all local body elections. And the Bharatiya Janata Party will also emerge as the number one party once again in the state next year.
