Buldhana reports region first covid death in 10 days
Being a Sunday, only 3311 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. With around 8 new covid cases being detected, the positivity of the test is less than 0.25%.
Nagpur: In district Buldhana, a 69-year-old woman died during treatment on Monday, This was the first covid death in the Vidarbha region in the last 10 days.
According to officials, this woman living in Wankhede Layout of district Buldhana city was not vaccinated against covid. In the last 9 weeks, this was the sixth death of the month in the Vidarbha region and the 12th death in the Vidarbha region.
Barring 1 death, the week has otherwise started on a positive note for the Vidarbha region. In the last 24 hours, around 21 have been cured from this entire region, as compared to 8 new Covid cases. The covid patients found during this festive rush are recovering very fast. The number of patients under treatment has come down from 147 to around 133 in 1 day.

For the first time in the last 10 days, the number of under-treated covid patients in district Nagpur has come down drastically. 7 covid patients have been cured while 5 new covid cases have come out. At present, 63 covid patients are being treated in district Nagpur. All the 5 patients found on Monday were from Nagpur City (NMC) area. 6 out of 7 were precisely from the city (NMC) and 1 from rural areas. Only up to 1,981 tests have been done in the district.
Wardha: In this district, 3 patients have been discharged on Monday after recovering from covid, taking the total number of cured people in the district to 48,086. Not a single new case of covid has come out from about 126 test reports, While the caseload of the district remained unchanged at 49,424. Its toll has also remained unchanged at 1,326 as not a single new death was reported in the district. And active positive patients under treatment of covid are only 8 in the district.
Yavatmal: Neither death has occurred in any district nor any new covid positive patient has come, Which has kept the district’s toll unchanged at 1,787. 4 active covid positive patients are under treatment. The administration has received reports of 132 investigations in the district.
Chandrapur: No coronavirus has been detected in this district and 5 recoveries have taken the active figure of coronavirus closer to 13 on Monday. This is the 3rd day in a row When Chandrapur has scored 0 in the case of detection.
Akola: Not a single new case has been detected in this district after about 167 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. There was no recovery in the district. Akola’s caseload stands at 57,891, of which 56,744 have recovered and 1,139 deaths are also included. Now 8 covid patients are undergoing treatment.
Buldhana: Reported its 1st coronavirus death in the month of November. The woman who died in the district at the time of treatment. She also had many diseases. In Buldhana on Monday, 1 new covid case has also come to the fore and 4 patients have been cured. Out of 87,643 patients registered so far in the district, 86,953 have been cured. The toll of the district is up to 675. Now 15 covid patients are undergoing treatment.
Washim: Not a single new case has come to the fore in the district on Monday. The caseload of the district stood at 41,770, out of which 41,129 were recovered.
Bhandara: Only 13 tests have been done in this district in the last 24 hours, and all have been found negative. Bhandara, not a single recovery. At present, the caseload of the district is up to 60,105. Out of which 58,969 recoveries and 3 active covid cases are included.
Gondia: All the 42 tests done in the district have come out to be covid negative only. Keeping the caseload in this district at 41,226 cases. After about 40,517 complete recovery, at present only one patient is being treated in the district.
Gadchiroli: In the last 24 hours in this district, after about 255 investigations, 1 new covid case has come to the fore, while 1 patient under treatment has been completely cured. Currently, 8 covid patients are undergoing treatment.
