Covid-19 toll reaches 21,367 including Nagpur, Washim reports first death in October
Vidarbha district has reported its first coronavirus death in the month of October. In which a senior citizen who was undergoing treatment for Covid was tested positive for severe comorbid conditions.
Nagpur: Vidarbha district has reported its first coronavirus death in the month of October. In which a senior citizen who was undergoing treatment for Covid was tested positive for severe comorbid conditions, Washim district on Friday after the man died after testing coronavirus positive. It was also the first coronavirus casualty inside the region after almost 11 days.
So far, the overall toll of coronavirus has reached 21,367. The status of this epidemic in other districts including Nagpur is still showing the baseline run of the coronavirus graph.
In the last 24 hours, more than 10,200 tests have been done in the area. Of these, 16 patients have turned out to be coronavirus positive. This means that the test positivity rate of coronavirus in the district of Vidarbha was 0.15%.
Wardha and Bhandara have reported zero coronavirus cases on Friday. Yavatmal, Buldhana, Gondia, Gadchiroli and Washim districts have given 1-1 information.
Amravati: One new covid case and one recovery in the district has kept the covid scenario of Amravati under control and balanced on Friday. The caseload of the district has now reached around 96,136. And the recovery of the district has gone up to 94,524.
Wardha: Wardha has become zero active positive after the discharge of four patients in this district on Friday. Not a single new case has emerged out of around 350 covid tests or deaths. While the caseload of the district is close to 49,399. The district’s toll is 1,326. And the recovery has also increased to 48,069.
Chandrapur: With the identification of 3 people and the complete recovery of four patients in the district on Friday, the active figures of coronavirus have come down and have come down to 37. No casualties were recorded during the day.
Yavatmal: There was no casualty in Yavatmal on Friday. Due to which there has been no change in the death toll. 6 covid active positive patients are currently undergoing treatment in hospitals. The administration has received about 702 investigation reports of covid. In which one person has been found covid positive. Out of about 72,890 covid positive patients, 71,097 have recovered well.
Akola: A total of 580 covid tests were done in the last 24 hours. Out of which 3 have come covid positive. Now treatment of 15 covid patients is going on in Akola.
Washim: Apart from one deceased, no fresh covid patient has come out in the district on Friday. Even at present, treatment of 4 covid patients is going on.
Buldhana: In the last 24 hours, in Buldhana, all but one of the 1,172 covid samples tested covid negative. At present, a total of 18 covid patients are being treated in the hospital.
Gadchiroli: Out of 675 covid samples tested in the last 24 hours, only 1 has been found to be covid positive. Whereas on Friday, six patients have recovered well. Now a total of 14 covid patients are being treated in Gadchiroli.
Gondia: A total of 357 covid tests have been done in Gondia, out of which 1 test has been found to be covid positive. There was no report of any recovery on Friday. Due to which the number of patients under treatment has increased to 3. And all these patients are still in home isolation.
Bhandara: Another ‘Zero Day’ has been observed in Bhandara as all the 337 tests conducted were negative. At present, only one patient is undergoing treatment and is in home isolation.
