Hair Salons To Start From June 28 but with Conditions Apply
Its a big relief for the Salon Owners as they are able to open up their stores from 28th June. The stores closed have caused problems for many reasons as people were not able to cut their hair and give the right shape without their help. All thanks to the COVID 19 shutdown that took place ever since the lockdown was announced in March 2020. The state government has decided to open the barber shops along with salons and beauty parlors on the said date.
However, it will start under the Mission Begin Again Phase IV. As per reports, Mr. Vijay Wadettiwar the State Relief and Rehabilitation Minister who was seen announcing the same on Thursday as he called the state cabinet meeting. The meeting was chaired by the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray who also agreed to open up the salons but have posed the adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding cleanliness and hygiene.
The notice read saying that the hair salon will reopen, but the use of sanitizers along with the face masks, which is mandatory to function for both the visitors and the workers of the salon. As per reports, the salon operators had earlier demanded for opening up of the salons as they were facing tough times with the COVID 19 lockdown. They demanded the same stating that around 12 barbers have already committed suicide in the last three months as they facing tough time.
