Intimation letter to Mahira Sharma for forgery, by DPIFF
Ex-contestant of Big Boss 13, Mahira Sharma has put herself into a Big controversy to repent about it for long. The organizers of Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival have accused the actress on the charges of forgery. It is being learned that she forged a certificate of appreciation and posted it on her Instagram account which was followed by posts on her fan pages too.
Mahira Sharma was amongst the ones who attended the event. She posted an Instagram story that a certificate of appreciation has been awarded to her at the award ceremony. It displayed that she has received it for the title of “The Most Fashionable Contestant of Big Boss 13”. The story was posted on 20th feb, 2020 at around 11:30 pm in the night. The story has been reposted by millions of her fans, so far, not just on Instagram but other social media handles too. It has also been posted on many websites as news.
An open statement has been issued by the official team of DPIFF. The statement cleared the air having said that none of the team members of DPIFF has not issued the certificate. The certificate is being considered to be forged and the associates of the event aren’t involved. DPIFF team has issued an intimation letter to the actress for the same. She has been asked to seek a written public apology within 48 hours from the team of DPIFF. Legal proceedings will be done if she doesn’t seek an apology and will face consequences.
