Jailed goon main accused of 15-year-old pregnancy
The minor had also initially misled the police by claiming that Ramesh Thakur was behind her pregnancy. And he also claimed to have met Ramesh Thakur on Instagram.
Nagpur: The city police are almost sure that a 15-year-old girl has been impregnated by a goon behind bars in the Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities Act case, who gave birth to her child after watching a youtube video and then on the date of February 3, the girl was strangled with a belt.
The minor had also initially misled the police by claiming that Ramesh Thakur was behind her pregnancy. And he also claimed to have met Ramesh Thakur on Instagram.
CP Amitesh Kumar has also said that it is possible that the person who made her pregnant and the statements of the minor about him may not be true because some more strong facts have come out from the technical evidence and manual intelligence.
“The digital evidence extracted from the mobile handset suggests that the suspect is a dreaded goon who was arrested in August last year under the Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities. He has been in jail since then.” CP said.
Counseling of the minor is also being done by psychiatrists
Sources have also said that the goon, who was arrested once for robbery, was friends with the minor for a few months before he was arrested by the Rana Pratap Nagar police in the month of August.
Sources have also said about this that the minor might have become pregnant after having a physical relationship with her, but they are trying their best to save her.
The Ambajhari police, which registered the crime, are waiting for the postmortem report from Mayo Hospital to ascertain the cause of the girl’s death.
Sources have also said that doctors at Mayo Hospital have said that the minor had also given birth to a ‘full-term’ baby, whose death was likely to be a homicide. At present, the counseling of the minor is also being done by psychiatrists at Mayo Hospital.
