Mamata Banerjee won by 58,832 votes in Bhabanipur
The Chief Minister of West Bengal, whose name is Mamata Banerjee, has claimed a very good victory in the Bhabanipur by-election. Mamata Banerjee was leading by a margin of 58,832 votes.
New Delhi: The Chief Minister of West Bengal, whose name is Mamata Banerjee, has claimed a very good victory in the Bhabanipur by-election. Mamata Banerjee was leading by a margin of 58,832 votes. Ms Banerjee has said that. I have won the Bhabnipur assembly by-election by a margin of 58,832 votes. And have won all the wards of the constituency.
The victory in the Bhabnipur assembly by-election was very important for Mamata Banerjee. To remain as Chief Minister after she was defeated in Nandigram.
Polling was held on 30 September. In Jangipur, Bhabanipur and Samserganj assembly constituencies of the state.
Around twenty four companies of central forces were deployed over the counting centers and the entire area was kept under CCTV surveillance.
The counting of votes was done in around 21 rounds for Bhabanipur constituency, 24 for Jangipur constituency and 26 for Samserganj inside Sakhawat Memorial School in Kolkata.
