Nagpurians Gearing up to celebrate Janmashtami in city Amid COVID-19
The festive season is now all set to come soon with the celebration of the Birth of Krishna. The celebration is called Krishna Janmashtami, which the citizens are all set to celebrate this year despite all odds posed by COVID 19. The city is affected by the on-going pandemic, yet people have found out ways to celebrate with safety and security. As per the Live Nagpur reports, the ISKCON Temple Nagpur close to Empress Mall is going to celebrate the festival.
As per reports, they have planned to celebrate this big way with great zeal by making some significant changes in the celebration amidst the Covid 19 virus spread in Nagpur. With this the entry to the local devotees will not be allowed in the temple. The devotees would remain the part of the pooja and other programs via social media and other online mediums. The ISKON temple is arranging the live show of the programs like Aarti, Darshna, Bhagavad Gita recitation, and life lesson lectures by spiritual gurus to name a few.
The program for the said festival will begin at the ISKCON Temple in the city from 6 pm on August 12. The live darshan can be seen over the YouTube channel via the YouTube ISKCON Nagpur.
