NMC Chief Faces NCW Hearing, Called Allegations Baseless
As we know the name of Tukaram Mundhe the NMC chief has been in the news for some bad reasons, the chairperson of NCW has issued a notice against him. The chairman of National Commission for Women, Rekha Sharma had given her a notice on the case of misbehaving with a lady officer. This led to a controversy taking some action against the civic body chief. He was asked to appear before the virtual hearing of the NCW.
As per the Nagpur Live reports, the NMC chief appeared before the NCW hearing and claimed that the allegations against him are baseless. As per reports, Bhanupriya Thakur who was the company secretary of the body called Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation Limited has filed a case against NMC chief. She claimed that she has the proof of the misbehaviour against her by the NMC chief.
The case then went to the NCW leading to Rekha Sharma, the chief of the woman’s body, sending her the notice. In the panel of the virtual hearing as headed by Rekha Sharma, she asked the lady to furnish all the proofs against the NMC and present it before the panel. In the initial hearing, the NMC chief has claimed that the allegations against him are baseless. So, when the panel will be presented with the proofs and then will get the final decision onit. She said the final decision will be made based on the evidence.
