On Friday Six Covid deaths in the region, 13 so far in January

Nagpur: Due to coronavirus in the Vidarbha region, there have been six deaths including three in Nagpur district alone on Friday. Three of the six deaths occurred in the last 24 or 48 hours. Two have died in the beginning of this week and one in the last week, But the data has been updated by health officials on Friday.
With this, the number of people who died of coronavirus in the Vidarbha region in the month of January has gone up to 13.
About 3,456 new cases have been found in this area on Friday. In which more than 200 infections were reported in six of the 11 districts. For the first time in the last five months, the recovery has crossed the 1,000 mark.
In Wardha, a covid patient of Chandrapur district has died during treatment in a government hospital. A 70-year-old man has died during treatment in district Gadchiroli. The death of another patient who died earlier this week in Wardha has been taken on record on Friday.
The covid test positivity rate is currently more than 10% in most of the districts of the Vidarbha region. Akola and Wardha have 25% positivity rates, Nagpur (15%), Amravati (15%), Gondia (13%), and Chandrapur (16%).
Gadchiroli: A 70-year-old fully immunized person from Ram Nagar in the district has died due to covid on Thursday. The person was admitted for some other disease and then he also tested positive for corona. Doctors have also said that they can become infected during their stay in the hospital. This was the 748th death in the district. Out of 1,094 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, 101 new covid cases have come out, While four covid patients have been completely cured. Now 445 patients of covid are undergoing treatment.
Gondia: After conducting 1,094 tests, 150 new cases of covid have come out, While 45 patients have completely recovered.
Bhandara: Out of 1,134 tests conducted in the district in the last 24 hours, 111 have come back positive, While 51 patients of covid have been cured on Friday. Now 393 patients of covid are undergoing treatment.
Akola: With 260 test positive out of 1,002 in the district on Friday, the positivity rate has now reached close to 30%. While 67 patients of covid have been cured in one day, no one has died.
Buldhana: After conducting 1,417 tests in the last 24 hours, 209 new cases of covid have been reported in this district. Now 692 patients of covid are undergoing treatment. The caseload of the district has reached 88,413, Which includes 676 deaths and 87,045 recoveries.
Washim: In the last 24 hours, 42 new covid cases have been reported in the district. Seven patients have completely recovered. Now 219 patients of covid are undergoing treatment.
