Yavatmal again became Covid free, 3 cases in Wardha

Nagpur: After almost 48 days in Yavatmal, the only covid patient found to be Covid-free has now fully recovered on Tuesday. Due to which the district has once again become Covid-free. And with this, Yavatmal has joined Gadchiroli, Gondia, Amravati, Akola, and Bhandara to form the Vidarbha district. In which no one was a patient of coronavirus in any way.

On the other hand, Wardha, which was coronavirus free for almost 10 days, found three new covid patients on Tuesday. With this Nagpur reported two new covid cases both from Nagpur city. While Chandrapur reported only one coronavirus case, Due to which six new covid cases have come out in Vidarbha.

Recovery rate of the Vidarbha region is also above 98.3%

With the recovery of a single covid patient in Yavatmal, the number of covid patients under treatment in the area has increased to 26. All the patients are recovering in home isolation.

In the last 24 hours, 2,771 tests have been conducted in the same area. The number of tests has increased a bit But is still much below the expected average. With six of them testing covid positive, the test positivity rate stands at 0.21%, Which is very comfortably well below the danger mark. The recovery rate of the Vidarbha region is also above 98.3%. Which is pretty good. No coronavirus death has been reported at all in about 10 days of the month of May.

In Nagpur, 622 tests have been done, Out of which 456 were in the city and 166 in the district itself. With two new covid cases, the number of active covid cases in the district has gone up to 12. Of these, 11 are in Nagpur city and only one patient is in rural.
