On Sunday, we can see more than 173 people being tested positive for the virus. Amidst the two days Janta Curfew, it seems that the figure for the affected in the city remained unchanged. The number of people suffering from the virus seems increasing with every passing day and the growing figure of 173 talks a lot about the grim situation in Nagpur. With this the cumulative figure for the people getting affected by the same has now reached 3,780.
As per the Hitavada Cityline, the death toll on Sunday was reported to be around six, which is also the matter of concern for the authorities. The four people out of six including the ones who breathed last were at the Mayo Hospital, while one was reported dead on arrival by the doctors at IGMC. Out of these five, one belonged to Betul. With this the number of people losing their life against the menace called COVID has been reported as 54. On the other side, the recovery is also reported. And the good news is 67 patients admitted earlier were declared COVID 19 negative.
With this the figure for recovery has reached 2,135. The other person who died yesterday was a 63-year-old lady from Lashkaribagh. She was admitted at Mayo Hospital on 23rd July and was declared dead yesterday. She was reported with the complaint of systemic hypertension along with having other issues like Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus with breast cancer. She was later tested for the virus.
