2,149 Covid-19 cases, 29 deaths in Maharashtra

Mumbai: After a spurt in new cases of coronavirus in the past four days, Maharashtra reported slightly fewer Covid-19 infections at around 2,149 on Friday.
The health official has said that around 29 coronavirus patients have died within the state during the day. While about 1,898 coronavirus patients have been discharged from hospitals.
He has said that the caseload of the state has increased. And has increased to about 65,88,429. And the death toll due to coronavirus has reached about 1,39,734.

There are now around 29,782 active covid-19 cases inside Maharashtra.
Around 2,27,467 people are still in home quarantine. And about 1,002 others are also in institutional quarantine.
The state’s recovery rate of coronavirus is around 97.37 percent. While the state’s death rate is 2.12 percent.
With about 2,62,482 samples being tested within the last 24 hours, the cumulative number of tests for covid-19 conducted in the state has gone up to about 6,08,09,054.
Maharashtra Administrative Regions
Among the districts, Mumbai has reported the highest number of 480 new covid-19 infections and 5 covid-19 deaths. Due to which the caseload of covid-19 of the state capital has gone up to 7,50,974. And the death toll due to covid-19 has reached about 16,177.
Out of the 8 administrative regions of Maharashtra. The maximum number of 862 new fresh cases of corona have been reported in the Mumbai region on Friday. And then after this about 550 coronavirus cases have come out from the area of Pune.
About 484 new fresh cases of coronavirus have been reported in Nashik region, Aurangabad 34 cases, Akola nine cases, Kolhapur 149 cases, Latur 56 cases and Nagpur region five new fresh coronavirus cases.
Nashik region has the highest number of deaths due to coronavirus, around 10. After this there have been seven deaths due to coronavirus from the area of Pune. There was not a single new death due to coronavirus in Aurangabad and Nagpur regions.
Pune city has reported around 94 new coronavirus infections but not a single death.
Maharashtra’s covid-19 figures are as follows: total covid-19 cases 65,88,429, covid-19 recoveries 64,15,316, active covid-19 cases 29,782, new fresh covid-19 cases 2,149, total covid-19 deaths 1,39,734, total tests 6,08,09,054.
