6,465 new covid cases have been registered in Vidarbha

Nagpur: 6,465 covid cases have been registered in the Vidarbha region on Wednesday. Huge jump of 1,799 from 4,666 covid cases on Tuesday. The overall test positivity rate, which was around 20% on Wednesday, has increased to 24%.

District Nagpur has registered 3,296 new cases of covid, Which includes 2,676 from Nagpur city alone, Which has a test positivity rate of 26%.

The rise in deaths due to covid has created another concern for the Vidarbha region. While district Nagpur reported five deaths, District Wardha also reported one death on Wednesday, taking the coronavirus toll in the month of January to 38.

In Buldhana, a three-month-old girl who died of some complications was also found to be coronavirus positive.

At present 16,242 patients of covid are under treatment in Nagpur. Out of which more than 12,000 are in home isolation. In Vidarbha region also most of the patients are in home isolation.

Buldhana: A three-month-old girl, who was suffering from many health problems since birth in the district, died on Tuesday. He also got corona tested positive. Due to which he has become the first death for the district in the current wave. Overall, out of 2,086 tests in the district, 275 have been found positive, While 97 patients of covid have been cured. At present, treatment of 1,677 is going on.

Akola: 398 new cases of covid have been found in this district after 1,181 tests have been done in the last 24 hours. 196 have been cured. At present, treatment of 1,968 patients is going on in the district.

Washim: On Wednesday, 119 new covid cases have been reported in the district and 27 have been cured. Currently the caseload is 42,376, Which includes 639 deaths and 41,272 cured, And 464 patients are being treated in the district.

Gondia: In this district, out of 989 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, 156 positives have been found. The number of people recovering daily in Gondia was 187. Now 996 patients are being treated in the district.

Gadchiroli: In this district, 201 new covid cases have been reported in 925 tests while 108 people have been cured. At present, there have been 831 active cases of covid in the district.

Bhandara: Out of 1,979 tests in the district, 248 have come positive. At present 61,408 have been reported in this district. With 77 persons getting cured in the last 24 hours, the total has reached 59,383. At present, 891 patients are being treated in the district.
