Zero covid cases, for third time in 3 weeks
After the recovery of three - two in Wardha and one in Gadchiroli - only 22 coronavirus patients are being treated on Monday.
Nagpur: Now for the third time in the last nearly three weeks, the Vidarbha region has not reported any new coronavirus case on Monday, Even in the last 24 hours, more than 1,100 tests have been conducted in this area.
With this, after the recovery of three – two in Wardha and one in Gadchiroli – only 22 coronavirus patients are being treated on Monday. Of these, 18 covid patients are from two districts- Amravati and Nagpur. One covid patient each is undergoing treatment in Gadchiroli, Buldhana, Washim, and Gondia. Other districts have been coronavirus free.
For the third time on Monday in Wardha district, coronavirus became free. Akola and Yavatmal remained Kovid-free on the 14th and 25th day respectively.
Due to the date of April 10 being a Sunday, only 1,167 tests have been conducted. District Nagpur has conducted only 312 tests. There are 12 covid patients under treatment in the district, out of which 11 are in Nagpur city (NMC area) while one covid patient is from another state. There are no active cases of any kind in Nagpur Rural (ZP Area) at all. All the 12 coronavirus patients undergoing treatment in Nagpur are recovering in home isolation. No coronavirus patient is hospitalized in other districts as well.
The caseload of the Vidarbha region so far is 12,81,306, which includes 12,59,857 recoveries. The toll has remained unchanged at 21,770 for the past three weeks. In the month of April, only 31 new covid cases have come out in 11 days. With all festivals, gatherings, offices, and schools going on, as usual, the Vidarbha region has remained almost coronavirus free for now.
