Cashless facility as private hospitals resume, cos begin rate negotiation

He has said that the representatives of the insurance companies said that on Thursday, after doing several audits and based on the gradation, a completely new offer will be made. He is sincerely hopeful that by the end of May this agreement will be done.
He has also said that all India companies provide a standard rate card for metro and non-metro cities. Mumbai rates also may not be applicable to Nagpur at all. The opposition to these new rates is visible only in Nagpur.
Similar package rate as subsidized rates
These companies were also receiving a lot of complaints from the premium payers regarding the non-availability of cashless facility in their own preferred hospitals. They have said that they fully accept the inconvenience caused to their patrons.
After the Vidarbha Hospitals Association wrote to the PMO, the health insurance companies had assured that they would directly interact with these affected hospitals and list them once again.
The Vidarbha Hospitals Association has also said that A very similar package rate as subsidized rates would greatly undermine the quality of health care and insurance would not benefit many beneficiaries at all. However, he had set up a technical committee and These 3 companies also submitted a very reasonable rates list of around 130 surgeries and procedures to the cartel.
These also rate lists are likely to be referred by individual hospitals as they get down to negotiation.
