Experts of both Ayurveda and modern medicine participating in the three-day international conference ‘Sushruti – 2023’ have said that for this Ayurvedic remedies and modules should be integrated with modern medicines.

Doctors talk on interesting topics such as Ayurveda’s role in preventing ANC and labor complications, medical and surgical updates in infertility, and clinical advancement of Ayurvedic contraception.
Dr. Manisha Deokate, Chairperson, the Scientific Committee of the Meet has said that living in harmony with nature is the best way to completely ensure a normal delivery.

“Getting pregnant at the right age, following an ideal timetable and eating habits, medicine as prescribed in Ayurveda, yoga and natural supplements can ensure not only a normal delivery but also a healthy and active baby.” he said.
Dr. Manoranjan Sahu, honored with Padma Shri for his contribution to Ayurvedic surgery, said on Sunday that many surgical procedures can be done through Ayurveda. Dr. Vedprakash Mishra, a veteran of modern medicine and medical education, has also said that Ayurveda is ancient knowledge and Indians have natural faith in Ayurveda.
“The integration of the two important schools of medicine will ultimately benefit patients at large,” They said. The theme of the meeting was ‘Saga of the Womb and the Wound’. Various procedures have been demonstrated by expert doctors for participating doctors and PG students from all over the country. More than 1,200 delegates from across the country participated in the conference.
“Ayurveda supports health by strengthening the body’s own healing and balancing mechanisms and does not depend on the intervention of any external or foreign substance to replace or fix the hormones in the body. It focuses on treating infertility holistically.” Dr Neeta Mahesekar said.
