The IT giant HCL is back in the news as it is known to organise one event or the other in the city. This time, we see the company coming up with yet another HCL Zero Mile Marathon Nagpur that was organised on 17th November 2019 for promoting health and fitness among the people. This time the event was organised with the theme called Run to Educate Girl Child. HCL Technologies has remained the Title Sponsor for the same like the previous year making it to be the second consecutive year.
It was Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Corporate Vice President, HCL Technologies along with Mr.Shailesh Awale, Centre Head,HCL Technologies who seemed to have kicked off the event of the Marathon. This was the fourth edition of the event which seemed to have got an overwhelming response while more than 3400 people had participated in the marathon organised yesterday.
The Marathon was kicked off from Nagpur University Ground and it was organised in four categories 21.1 km HCL 0 Mile Half Marathon for people above 16 years; 10.5 km HCL Zero Mile Endurance Run for the people above the age group of above 16 years and 5 km Dream Run for the age group above the 12 years old and the 3 km Fun Run and Walk is seen for the age group of above 10 years. The winners of the of 3 lakh was carried out in the said categories and people covering the same had got a medal, e-certificate and refreshments.
