1000 Bed Jumbo Bed to Come at Mankapur Stadium for COVID 19 Patients
Yes, you heard it right, in the recent decision made by the Maharashtra Government, we now hear that the Mankapur Stadium is all set to be converted into a 1000 bedded jumbo hospital. This is done to meet the growing requirement of the city for treating the COVID 19 patients in the city. As per the Hitavada Cityline, Dr. Nitin Raut, the Guardian Minister after consulting the city admin and other people to finally decide upon the same.
He talked to the administrators before zeroing in on Mankapur Stadium as it can give sufficient space for the hospital. This jumbo size hospital will cater patients all across the region since the city is falling short of meeting the growing requirements of patients in the city in the government hospitals like IGMCH and GMCH. With the increasing number of cases in the city, we can see the city concerned people coming out with new space for the temporary treatment center.
Dr. Raut was quick to call a meeting at the DC office and after discussing this issue, he finally took the decision to convert the stadium into a Jumbo hospital for the region. With this, we see the state government offering the finance for the same. At Mumbai and Pune, we see such jumbo hospitals are now coming into the final stage. With the growing number of cases in the district, the city admin with the help of guardian minister Dr. Raut was seen taking the final decision. Hopefully it can meet the growing requirement in the city. Stay tuned to know more about it only with us.
