Nagpur: SSC (Class X) results are expected to be declared in the next few days. Students will immediately start filling out the last part of the online form for admission to class XI. And if the admission process starts soon after that, then those who have shifted here from CBSE will suffer a huge loss.

It is completely impossible for CBSE to declare Class X results before SSC too, and there is very little chance of it happening after a few days.

The principal of a school on the state board has also said that the way things are progressing, all the top seats in the college will be filled by state board students. CBSE students also have to take whatever is left.

In Nagpur city also, admission to junior college can be done only through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Colleges outside the city limits are also exempted from this much more.

CBSE students transfer to the state board

The principal also said that the Centralized Admission Process is completely online and the forms are also to be filled in two parts. The second part also involves entering the marks obtained in class X, and then only after that, a student becomes eligible to participate in the Centralized Admission Process round as well.

If CBSE results are declared in the month of July, then it will be too late for them as at least two rounds would have been completed.

In Nagpur, it is a very long practice that CBSE students transfer to the state board in class XI.

However, CBSE students can also miss out on prime college seats, which will not leave them in the cold at all. Many thousands of seats fall vacant every year in Nagpur. “Everyone has a full guarantee of admission in Nagpur. It’s just that they may have to settle for college,” said the principal.
