City Food Brand Haldiram sales crossed 1 billion USD: Market Report
Haldiram is a known food brand in Nagpur and it has its presence not just in city but all across the country with even at some outlets in overseas locations as well. As per the latest reports published in Economic Times, the food brand has crossed its sale by one billion dollar mark in India with the business going just the double in the last four years claimed the reports. In the financial year of 2019, the food brand has generated a revenue of Rs 7,130 crore, which is around one billion USD.
The report suggests that it has boosted up by 14 percent when compared to the previous year of 2018. More than 80 percent of the sales for the brand has been carried out by the packaged snacks claimed the reports. The brand has been found in places like Calcutta, Delhi, NCR and other places apart from Nagpur and it has a chain of restaurants as well called Food Plaza. The jump in sales is primarily due to the increasing preferences for the food including the snacks, namkeen, etc claimed the reports.
The report also claimed that the total number of sales of the brand has been similar to the other big brands of food like Hindustan Unilever and other foods and refreshment business. Talking about the same, the company claims that it has generated revenue as they understand the snacking habits of its consumers in a big way and have catered to the need of the market. Adding to this, the spokesperson of Haldiram also claimed that the stable management of the company has helped the brand to fly high with its consistent strategy allowing the least amount of attrition.
