City to Likely Have a Wet I Day Celebration in 2020
With the constant downpour in the city, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned for heavy rains in the coming days of this week. The rainfall prediction as per the department is likely to remain on the higher side from 11th August to 15th August claimed the reports of Hitavada Cityline. In the last 24 hours, the city and other places in the region have got good rainfall. As per reports, Gondia has received the highest rainfall reaching to 147.6 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours.
Nagpur has remained the second in the region and similar is the case of Yavatmal and Chandrapur as well, which seemed to have got three digit rainfall in the said cities. As per reports, the region has got a good amount of rain in all the districts. The following are the rainfall for different cities in the region, have a look at these:
Chandrapur – 28.2 mm
Bramhapuri – 23.6 mm
Nagpur – 20.5 mm
Washim – 17 mm
Amravati – 16.2 mm
Gadchiroli -16 mm
and Wardha 12.2 mm
On the other side, the other gaining double digit figure include the following:
Akola – 9.5 mm
Yavatmal – 9 mm
With the rainfall seen in the past 24 hours, the city has lower temperature and is likely to remain in the coming days as well.
