Designer, Arjun Kumar’s creation chosen for an international fashion show in Latin America

Hailing from Assam, designer, Arjun Kumar’s creation has been chosen to get featured at an international fashion festival in Latin America. Armaan Hakim, the winner of India’s biggest male pageant – Rubaru Mr. India, is currently in the Latin American nation of Dominican Republic, serving as India’s official representative at the prestigious Mister Model International 2021 championship. Designers from different parts of the world were chosen to showcase their creations at this renowned international fashion festival. For India, Arjun Kumar was chosen to design the outfit for the Indian representative.

Arjun Kumar was selected by the Rubaru Mr. India organization in association with Mister Model International championship, to serve as India’s official fashion designer for the special fashion and runway segment of the said international event. Along with designing the outfit for Armaan, he also styled his looks for the event. Arjun Kumar has dressed several celebrities in past, like Sonu Sood, Arbaaz Khan, Zareen Khan and Vivek Oberoi to name a few, and this year his creation was chosen for the international runway. 

Arjun’s tryst with the fashion world began during his teenage. Fascinated with this scintillating world of glitz and glamour, he made-up his mind to pursue a career in fashion designing. While speaking about his professional choice, he mentioned, “I chose this career option because I like to recreate new looks and designs. Every time I come up with a design idea, I think about giving it a unique look, different from the one I came up with in the past. Creativity and innovation are two of the biggest traits that help a designer in his career path and I am no different. Also, there are many opportunities in this field and here your work speaks for you. I am happy to be part of this amazing industry and hope to do even better in future.”

While speaking about his creation being chosen for the international runway, he mentioned, “I am very happy and honored that my creation will be worn by our country’s representative – Armaan Hakim at such a prestigious international event – Mister Model International 2021. I would like to wish him all the very best for the grand finale. May he bring more glory and more joy to our nation.”
