Nagpur: Ex-armyman Sameer Siddiqui, who fired at Maharashtra Security Force jawan Milind Khobragade in Kanhan on Sunday, has also come to know that he has also fired sharp service fire on his seniors and has also got a court martial done.
Milind Khobragade, who was also hit by three bullets, is fighting for their life in a private hospital in Kamathi.
After this incident, Sameer Siddiqui was also arrested along with his close aide Rahul Jacob. The two men who fired at Milind Khobragade in the residential area of the Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) mines were produced in the court on Monday. Who has been sent to police custody till the date of 15th December.
On Monday, the police found two more bullets from the same ground where the incident took place.
Police are still going to investigate the entire record
According to a senior official, the police is also seeking documents related to Siddiqui’s court martial from the Army. “Siddiqui and Jacob were looking for a rival in the minefield to give him a fight. Milind Khobragade, who was patrolling the area, asked them to leave. Siddiqui was engaged in an argument with Jacob when he fired the shot.” an official said and adding that Jacob tried to stop Sameer Siddiqui from firing and one of the bullets also touched his hand and he was also injured.
According to SP Vishal Anand, the police are still going to investigate the entire record and condition of the body criminals. “All goons like Sameer Siddiqui have past records of attacks and such crimes will be under investigation,” SP said.
ADL SP Sandeep Pakhale also said that at least one and a half decade old records of the goons would also be analyzed. “Strict campaign will be launched against criminals,” Pakhale said.
