Ambazari Police booked 9 People for not Wearing Mask in Public Area

With the relaxed lockdown, the city seems to have been on strict guidelines. One of these includes wearing the masks amidst the deadly pandemic COVID 19 in Nagpur. The civic body has issued strict guidelines to follow which include wearing masks while coming out in the open area. Now, as per reports, the Ambazari Police have booked nine people walking near the Futala Lake for not having any face mask. They were seen violating this rule, which has been made mandatory to be followed in the city. 

The people who were booked under the same include the resident of Jaripataka -Kapil Leelaram Waswani (39), a resident of Jariptka – Rahul Khatoria (30), a resident of Futala Hirdas Pandari Faye (55), a resident of Wardhaman Nagar -Chirag Praveen Lalawat Jain, a resident of Bharat Nagar – Bharat Mohanlal Bihani (32), a resident of Gadge Nagar Atul Gajanan Tandulkar (26), a resident of Wardhaman nagar  Vikram Pawan Gupta (32), and a resident of Ganeshpeth and Sumit Naryan Tandulkar (29) and a resident of Old Bagadganj – Tejas Anil Meshram (23).

The DCP Zone II Vinita Sahu had issued detailed guidelines for the people to follow in the city. This includes wearing a mask while coming out in the city. The lady officer has asked the police to take action against the people violating this rule. Thus these people have been booked under the various sections like 188, 269, 270 of Indian Penal Code read with Sub-section 51 (b) of Disaster Management Act and Section 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act.
