How is Nagpur Getting Back to Normalcy
As the lockdown is opened partially, the city seems to be getting back to normalcy. The NMC chief has given some strict guidelines to follow when it comes to checking the unlock 1.0 in the city. With this, most of the offices in the town and other places in the city have been opened up in the limited time duration from 9 to 6pm. While the market areas in Mahal, Kelibagh, and Sitabuldi to name a few are opening up gradually keeping the stores opened in the said time duration with minimal staff.
The offices in the city are working but with 33 per cent of staff. The office staff are therefore called in their respective offices in smaller groups as per the requirements and that too in the prescribed time slot. The people coming out are supposed to follow the guidelines of social distancing and are maintaining proper hygiene. At one end when we saw the markets and shops opening up and getting back to normalcy, we now see the Malls and commercial centers still locked.
Thus the malls like Eternity Mall and Empress Mall are remaining close at the moment for obvious reasons. The food joints and restaurants would take time to open up again as they have been working mostly with the takeaway or delivery options. However, with increasing cases, one may see furthermore restrictions. Well, lets see how things would move but at the moment things are appearing rosy in this pre-monsoon time.
