The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation often known as MTDC seems to be making headlines these days with its recent collaboration with the food aggregator Zomato. This is done to attract more and more customers through food promotion codes and thus boost up the tourist footfall in the city and its vicinity. We know the office of the Maha Tourism body or “MTDC Orange” located at the Paryatak Niwas at the Civil Lines remains the first MTDC owned restaurant as well, hence it has become easy for them to place the order through Zomato.
Mr. Abhimanyu Kale the MD of MTDC while talking about the same claimed that the organization has tried to leverage the trend of sending across the local cuisines along with making it more tailor-made meal solutions for the visitors and tourists, which can be ordered via Zomato. He informed that a new food menu has to be added to give an authentic experience of the local heritage and local culture.
He further said as the demand for food is soaring in the recent past with many companies going for it, more and more customers are now liking the same. He also talked about how he will use the food supply options to attract and boost up the business from the local tourists as well apart from serving the existing tourist and visitors who pay a visit to this place.
