Catering gang commits burglary to make reel

Nagpur: A group of four youths from a catering group, including two minors, started stealing to make trendy reels and post them on the social media platform Instagram.

To make the video very attractive in these reels, the youth have got tattoos on their bodies. Various locations have also been chosen for the shoot and apart from feasting and smoking, they have ensured to look trendy with branded outfits.

Also to raise funds for shooting the reels, he started stealing bikes and breaking into houses for valuables and cash.

Following a tip-off about four youths spending on various extravagant hobbies including consumption of branded clothes, alcohol, and tattoos, Amar alias Prince Dongre (19), Rudresh alias Rudra Sakhre (19), and two minors have been nabbed by the Pachpaoli police team comprising Senior Inspector Vaibhav Jadhav and Inspector Mahendra Ambhore.

Jaripatka police had earlier registered a case of theft

During interrogation, Dongre claimed to have gang-raped Sakhre and two minors in the month of June for breaking into the house of a Takshande family. In which one lakh rupees in cash, valuables collectively worth more than two lakh rupees were included.

The gang had gone on a tour of Mumbai and Nashik with the cash. Where he bought branded mobile phones, clothes and also spent a lot on tattoos.

The Panchpoli team, led by zonal DCP Gorakh Bhamre, included sub-inspector Jeetendra Bhargav, head constable Gnyaneshwar Bhoge, It was also learned by Imran Shaikh and others that Dongre and his gang were behind the thefts in a Nikaya school in Balabhupeth, another house in Panchsheel Nagar and two bikes in Ramtek.

The police have also said that Jaripatka police had earlier registered a case of theft and assault on Dongre.
