National level social media training camp of Congress in Nagpur later this week

Nagpur: National level social media training camp will be organized in Nagpur at the end of this week only after the Jaipur convention of Congress, which is in the eyes of the media. More than 600 representatives of Congress from all over the country will reach the city in the two-day camp starting on the date of 28th May.

By spotting outright fake news, fact-checking, and even just following up on the very people who spread it legally – Congressmen will get all the information they need from the experts.

Vishal Muttemwar, president of the social media unit of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), has said that Very well-known media spokespersons of his party like Pawan Khera, Youth Congress President Srinivas, and others will remain present. He will also talk about how his members can also use social media platforms to spread the message of the party and combat fake news outright.

Vishal Muttemwar said that while Congress has slowly built up its social media presence, It is by no means a secret at all that they were quite slow in the beginning. It is also a capacity-building workshop and representatives from all over the country from North-East to Southern tip will also be present there. Of course, one of the biggest problems is fake news which is being spread deliberately. His training will enable party allies to identify exactly such information and take legal action.

He has also said that this is also part of the efforts of the party which is also being done to take the party forward.

Vishal Muttemwar has said that they are still in action mode as well. The Jaipur Conference has made it very clear that the momentum has just begun and it is very good for the morale of the party. Many Congressmen also believe that Nagpur is moving towards municipal elections. In such a situation, the presence of national-level leaders will also be like a shot for the workers.
