Rahul violated security norms 113 times, so did PM Modi: Nana Patole
Rahul Gandhi has breached the security cordon 113 times and then violated the guidelines given to him.
Nagpur: State Congress President of Maharashtra Nana Patole said on Thursday that the BJP and the Modi government should stop targeting the members of the Gandhi family for their safety. His statement came a day after Congress leader KC Venugopal wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, And also alleged security breaches during Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo visit in Delhi and sought immediate steps to ensure the safety of Gandhi and others who participated in the march.
Accusing the BJP of targeting the Gandhi family ever since it came to power, Nana Patole said, “We request them not to target the Gandhi family when it comes to their security.”
According to the CRPF, Rahul Gandhi has breached the security cordon 113 times and then violated the guidelines given to him. “We want to ask the Center and the Bharatiya Janata Party whether PM Narendra Modi follows the security protocols. He meets people during the Gujarat elections and public meetings elsewhere in the country. So will they reduce the security cover of the PM in view of this.” Nana Patole asked.
Nana Patole accused the state government of trying to blackmail
Citing examples, Nana Patole said that the country has already lost two prime ministers – Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi – to terrorist attacks. Because of this, he should not take PM Modi’s security lightly. The Gandhi family has always been targeted by the Bharatiya Janata Party, be it Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi. The BJP has accused the Congress and the Gandhi family of undermining or neglecting their security, he said.
For the last almost 9 years, whenever Modi talks about inflation, unemployment, and industry, he is not showing the right picture at all. Nana Patole said. “He is betraying the nation,” he added. Nana Patole accused the state government of trying to blackmail government employees, officials, and opponents.
He has also expressed his surprise that what kind of gifts the government has for the industrialists, While he has absolutely no money for the pension of the employees. Nana Patole even said that if the speaker does not allow the opposition to raise questions, then the opposition may be forced to bring a no-confidence motion against him.
