Schools in State reopen in non-Covid Zones
In the recent buzz on the reopening of the schools, the State CM Mr. Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray had called a meeting with the concerned department along with the Minister of School Education Department via video conference. In his meeting, the CM has given his nod to reopen the schools and colleges in the state. In his meeting with the officials the CM has given the approval to start the school only via the online/digital medium with the pilot project basis and not the offline ways.
As per the circular issued earlier, the physical classes can be only resumed at the non-COVID 19 places in the state where not a single case has been found. Also, only the high school students and the junior college students are likely to get the restart of the physical schools from 1st of July. While for the 6-8 class students, the schools would be resumed in August and for the fifth and sixth students will witness their classes in September.
While the board exam results for the 10th will be announced soon. However, all the schools in the state falling in the containment zones can only function via the online classes. Nagpur seemed to be in the red zone since its early days, which has made the city to remain in the last category where the schools will only function via online mode only.
