Six arrested for stabbing and robbing a bullion trader

Nagpur: Bullion trader Ketan Kamdar on Saturday six persons, including mastermind Bittu Shamsheriya and two brothers, have been arrested by various police teams in the last 24 hours for their alleged involvement in the robbery by stabbing them about six times.
Bittu and his accomplices were following Ketan Kamdar along with two brothers from a jewelry shop very near Kamal Chowk for more than a month. And giving them this information was also very helpful.
After stabbing Ketan Kamdar, Bittu Shamsheriya and his two accomplices had fled with the bullion trader’s scooter. In which there was three kg of silver and half a kg of gold worth about Rs 22 lakh. After this, the accused had left the scooter before taking all the valuables from the trunk. Within hours of the incident, the city police had circulated the CCTV footage of the suspects fleeing in this two-wheeler.
Sources have said that the police had already arrested two brothers, who worked in a jewelry shop near Kamal Chowk, for alerting Bittu Shamsheriya fully after the workman left the shop. Ketan Kamdar was going to Itwari when he was stopped.
Kampte Police and Crime Branch have started focusing
After apprehending two brothers from these shops and also a friend of theirs working in the adjacent outlet, The police have been completely successful in getting the mobile phone numbers of Bittu Shamsheriya and two others.
It is also learned that Bittu Shamsheriya and his two accomplices were absconding after this robbery and the police officer has also chased them on the basis of their cellphone towers.
The New Kampte Police and Crime Branch have now started focusing heavily on the area near Yerkheda because their locations were being traced in the same area. Bittu Shamsheriya and his accomplices were also on the run when they were spotted by two beat marshals of New Kampti police station, Joe completely managed to catch him after chasing him.
