State Extends Lockdown till 31st August
With Maharashtra being on the top when it comes to the growing number of cases for the virus, we see the state government announcing the lockdown extension. Now, it will be until 31st August falling under the mission of Begin Again Plan. This announcement was made after the MHA issued the guidelines for unlock 2 earlier allowing few areas to remain functional that do not fall under the outside containment zones all over the nation.
We see the Unlock 3, to come into force from 1st of August 2020 when it comes to re-opening of activities. As per reports, all the public places including malls, cinema halls, and food courts will be only operational between 9 am to 7 pm. People visiting these places are supposed to use masks and maintain norms like social distancing. The places like salons, spas, and barbershops are allowed with minimum turnout. All the non-essential shops would also function between the said time lines. The liquor shops would be functional only on the home delivery options.
All the shops catering essential stuff would remain open before the order and thus would continue to do things as per the guidelines. Thus most of the stores functional on e-commerce and other online channels will remain functional as per the guidelines and deliver stuff as per the said time duration in the city. THe offices and industrial units will continue working with minimum staff. The home delivery restaurants / Kitchen will function as per the guidelines. The government offices will work with 15 people per unit.
