In last 48 hours, 13,726 new cases of covid found
Out of 14 deaths from covid in district Nagpur, 10 deaths occur in the city. These deaths include many people who died at home due to old age or some other disease and were tested positive after the death of coronavirus.
Nagpur: The coronavirus curve of the Vidarbha region is seen settling towards the peak of the third wave. In the last 48 hours (26 and 27 January), 13,726 new cases of covid have been found. Of the 31 deaths from covid during this period, 22 were recorded on Thursday alone, In which 14 districts are from Nagpur.
Out of 14 deaths from covid in district Nagpur, 10 deaths occur in the city. These deaths include many people who died at home due to old age or some other disease and were tested positive after the death of coronavirus.
Considering the rise in covid cases as well as deaths, the authorities are on their toes right now. Nagpur’s Guardian Minister Nitin Raut has issued a very late night alert on Thursday.
Akola: No one has died in this district in the last two days. But more than 425 cases have been found in this district. 908 were also cured in the district. A total of 2,186 patients of covid are undergoing treatment.
Washim: In the last 48 hours, 227 new cases of covid have been found in this district and 116 have been cured. At present, treatment of 1,320 patients of covid is going on.
Buldhana: In this district, 243 cases have been registered on the date of January 27 while 283 cases have been registered on the date of January 26.
Gadchiroli: In this district, 182 new cases of covid have been found on Thursday and 278 on Wednesday. With 220 recovering in a single day, the count has reached 31,839.
Gondia: 117 new cases of covid have been found in this district on Thursday and 228 have been cured, While 362 cases of infection and 386 have become healthy on Wednesday.
Bhandara: In this district, 191 new cases have been found on Thursday as against 409 recoveries. On the date of 26 January, 573 new covid cases have been reported. One death was reported from covid on Thursday, taking the death toll to 1,136.
Yavatmal: There is no news of any death on Thursday. 288 were found to be covid positive while 246 have been cured on Thursday.
Amravati: Three coronavirus deaths and 460 new cases of covid have been registered in this district on Thursday.
Wardha: With one more death in this district, the death toll has gone up to 1,333 on Thursday. 51 new cases of covid have been added to the caseload. Meanwhile, 40 Covid patients have been discharged leaving 2,827 active cases.
Chandrapur: This district had marked one coronavirus death on Thursday, with 563 recoveries and 438 persons identified. Due to this 3876 active patients of covid are left under treatment. On Wednesday (January 26), 739 covid cases have been found against 619 patients being cured.
