32% of Covid-19 cases increased only in Buldhana in September

Nagpur: Buldhana district reported about 17 Covid cases on Saturday. This has been the first district to report cases of covid-19 in double digits 4 times in the last 8 days.
Although the number of cases is still not very large and serious, it is much more when compared to the rest of the 10 districts of Vidarbha region.
If we talk about September, in the first four days of this month, 169 new cases have been reported, out of which 55 cases have come from Buldhana only. Cases are being registered from all the parts of the district. In particular, the city of Buldhana is reporting more covid cases.
In the rest of the districts in the region, the number of covid cases is still stable and under control. Last Saturday, Nagpur district conducted more than 5,000 tests and out of them only 7 cases were positive.
Barring Buldhana, all the rest of the districts reported new covid virus cases in single digits. A whole 44 new cases of covid were seen and at the same time, 18 covid patients have been cured in a day. Vidarbha’s recovery rate is still more than 98%, but in the last 4 days, it is only a few decibel points less.
On Saturday, up to 12,553 people of covid were tested in Vidarbha. The number of patients who are undergoing treatment has increased to 329. Here also Buldhana is the only district where more covid patients have been treated. Single digit covid patients are being treated in Bhandara, Wardha and Gondia.
Wardha Report
340 covid-19 tests were done in Wardha, out of which only one came covid positive and 2 were discharged from the hospital, in which 2 covid patients are active positive, one new case and one old case. The caseload has risen to 49,392 and 48,062 people have been cured and no new death has been reported from the virus so far, while the toll remains the same at 1,325.
Yavatmal Report
There has been no change in the number of patients who died due to covid on last Saturday and it is currently 1,787. There are cases of about 17 active positive patients of covid who are currently admitted in the hospital. The administration received 1,713 Covid reports, out of which only 2 persons were found positive. Out of 72,863 covid positive cases, 71,059 people including 3 on Saturday have fully recovered.
