Two men entered house and robbed woman
According to police sources, Govind was out for work. Govinda's wife Yogita and his parents were at home. In the afternoon Yogita was sleeping in the bedroom.
Nagpur: Jewellery worth about ₹ 1.35 lakh has been robbed from a woman in an audacious act while staying in a broad daylight house under Beltarodi police station.
Yogita Govindraj Shriraman, a resident of New Manish Nagar, has told the Beltarodi police in his complaint that Yogita’s husband had gone to work. While Yogita’s in-laws left for the bank. When this incident happened on Tuesday afternoon.
According to police sources, Govind was out for work. Govinda’s wife Yogita and his parents were at home. In the afternoon Yogita was sleeping inside the bedroom. and Govind’s parents who are pensioners. Went to 1 bank in Somalwada at around 2.30 in the afternoon.
Finding Valuables in House
While leaving the house, he had locked the door of the house from outside. At around 3.15 in the afternoon, 2 people had entered the house. When those 2 people had reached inside the bedroom, they both saw that Yogita was sleeping there. Those thieves woke Yogita and stabbed Yogita on her throat. Yogita was threatened with death for making noise. The police have also said that Yogita decided to remain completely silent after this threat.
The police have further said that after this both the robbers took off the necklace, bangle, and mangalsutra from Yogita’s neck. And after that, the robbers started looking for valuables inside the house, and then those robbers found 1 oil lamp made of silver at the place of worship. Then after this the robbers ran away from the house by closing the door from outside. After this Yogita informed her husband about this incident.
Then the complaint of this matter was lodged at Beltarodi police station.
Considering the seriousness of this theft case, the police have taken immediate action. The police are now trying their best to trace both the accused through the CCTV footage installed in the area.
