Nagpur: Bharatiya Janata Party’s Nomadic Tribes Cell is planning to hold a statewide conference of tribal representatives on 22nd December from 10 am to 6 pm at Junction Function Hall, Nagpur.

Cell’s State General Secretary Ashok Chormale while addressing the media said, “There are many schemes for the nomads by the government of Maharashtra, But due to lack of financial provision, they are not useful for the society. For this reason, all these schemes should be allocated according to the population in the upcoming budget.”
He further said, “The ministry of nomadic tribes was also abolished at the time of Maha Vikas Aghadi, at least when Fadnavis was back in power, the ministry was taken back.”
Minister has focused a lot on the issue of the legitimacy of caste and caste certificates
This program will be inaugurated by Bharatiya Janata Party Maharashtra State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule. Union state minister Bhagwat Karad, national secretary Pankaja Munde, State president, deputy chief minister Devendra Fadanvis, backward welfare minister Atul Save, Dr. Vikas Mahatme, MLA Shrikant Bhartiya, Bhiku Idate are also going to be present in this meeting.
Elaborating further, Cell’s State General Secretary Ashok Chormale also said, “The population census should be done by a category-wise survey of nomadic caste tribes through the Department of Rural Development and Urban Development.”
The minister has also focused a lot on the issue of the legitimacy of caste and caste certificates. “Caste Certificate and Caste Validity Certificate should be made available quite easily More oppressive conditions should also be made and the requirement of domicile proof of 1961 should be done away with completely,” Ashok Chormale said.
