Yavatmal police uncovered the mystery of ATM scam, two arrested from Bihar
The accused were brought to Yavatmal and then both the accused were handed over to Avdootwadi police. Where the fraud case was registered after receiving the complaints of the victims.
Yavatmal: Cyber Cell API of Yavatmal Police named Amol Puri. And his team, taking quick action on receipt of secret information. Two accused have been arrested from Gaya in Bihar and cash and equipment worth around Rs 1,28,450 has been recovered from the accused.
Both the accused were brought to Yavatmal and then both the accused were handed over to Awadootwadi police. Where the fraud case was registered after receiving the complaints of the victims. The victims had alleged that the money was transferred from the other accounts without the knowledge of the victims.
Transfer money from duplicate ATM
SP Dilip Patil Bhujbal had formed a special squad. On the day of 15 September. Money was transferred from the ATM of State Bank of India (SBI) bank at the local Sai Satyajyot Mangal office. And a day later from the ATM of Anglo Hindi High School.
The cyber cell took the help of its expertise and then it was revealed that all the criminals had installed an internal cloner gadget in the ATM. And then used the duplicate ATM made with the help of that cloner and then transferred the money. After getting to know about the mobile tower of the accused, the team reached Bihar.
The accused have been identified as a Sudhirkumar Nirmal Pande and Mukheshkumar Anil Singh, residents of the Gaya. All the accused have been arrested. And cash, one hand ATM scanner, one internal ATM scanner, one duplicate ATM scanner. Collectively around the 15 ATM cards worth up to Rs 1,28,450 have been seized from the accused.
During preliminary interrogation, both confessed to having committed similar crimes in the Maharashtra, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Further investigation is being done by the Awadootwadi Police.
