Yes, you heard it right, the Nagpur district has found out with 1036 cases for the COVID 19. This has been the highest number of cases found in a single day for coronavirus positive cases in the district. As per the Hitavada Cityline reports, out of 1,036 of the COVID-19 positive cases in the district, around 867 cases were found from Nagpur city while the rest of 169 were reported from the Nagpur rural areas. With this the cumulative number has reached 12,745.
For Nagpur, the cumulative number has reached to 9,111 and in the rural areas it has gone up to 3,634. While on the other side, the recovery rate is also increasing on the higher side at the lighter mode with around a total of 123 persons now becoming corona-free on Friday. With this, the total for the people recovering has reached 5,639. Currently, we see the city with the active number of cases of around 2,356 in Nagpur.
Talking about the deaths in the Nagpur district, it has witnessed 23 deaths on Friday, which has now taken to the cumulative number of 447. This includes 58 out of the district who have gone out in Nagpur with the treatment. The samples tested for the virus were sent to different labs based in different hospitals including Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Government Medical College and Hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) (58), and the National Environmental Engineering Research Institute to name a few.
