1,468 new covid cases in Vidarbha, no death
Other districts reported double-digit growth in covid cases. No death was reported for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday.
Nagpur: In the last 24 hours, 1,468 new cases of coronavirus have been found in the Vidarbha region. All the four districts with municipal corporation cities including Akola (92), Nagpur (832), Chandrapur (106), and Amravati (100) have reported three-digit new cases.
Other districts reported double-digit growth in covid cases. No death was reported for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday.
In the last 24 hours, 21,770 tests have been done, Which is the highest after the second wave of covid in the month of June last year. With 1,468 of them being Covid positive, the test positivity rate stood at 6.6% on Sunday.
In the last 24 hours, Nagpur district 10,768 tests conducted. Out of which 832 of covid were positive. These include 723 patients from Nagpur city alone.
Chandrapur: The cases of coronavirus increased on Sunday and have increased to 106. There have been 56 cases in Chandrapur city. After recovering two patients a day, 341 patients are undergoing treatment. No casualties were reported in this district. In the last 24 hours, 1,697 tests have been done. The caseload of this district has increased to 89,229. Which includes 1,545 deaths and 87,343 recoveries.
Yavatmal: No one has died in this district, While the death toll in the district is 1,788. At present, 183 patients of covid are under treatment, Out of which 15 are outside the district and 168 are from Yavatmal.
Wardha: This district has crossed the two hundred mark of active cases after 64 tested positive for covid from 702 test reports in a single day, Taking the total cases 49,658 and active coronavirus cases to 207.
Amravati: Hundred new covid cases have been reported in Amravati on Sunday, Due to which the caseload of the district has gone up to 96,667.
Akola: Out of 905 tests conducted in the last 24 hours in this district, 92 have turned out to be covid positive. This has taken the caseload to 58,263. At present, 359 patients are being treated in this district.
Washim: 23 new covid cases have been reported. While three covid patients from Washim have been cured. At present, 68 patients of covid are undergoing treatment in this district.
Buldhana: Out of 1,018 tests conducted in this district in the last 24 hours, 34 covid positive cases have been reported in Buldhana.
Gondia: Out of 1,448 tests conducted in this district Gondia, 79 have tested positive. Eight patients have been cured in this district in a day.
Gadchiroli: In this district, out of 990 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, 30 new covid cases have been reported. Two covid patients have been cured. 147 covid patients are undergoing treatment.
Bhandara: In the last 24 hours, 1,174 tests have been done in this district. With 66 of them testing Covid positive, the district’s coronavirus caseload has reached 60,301. With three patients recovering in a single day, 58,980 patients have been cured so far. 187 patients are undergoing treatment.
