Like Manohar Mhaisalkar literary gems are becoming rare
Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh President Manohar has also been presented an award by Pandit Hrudaynath Mangeshkar to Principal Ram Shewalkar Literary Worker in a function organized at Ameya Dalan of the Sangh on Friday.
Nagpur: Literature enthusiasts must have their own center. Where the views and opinions of those people are to be heard, Manohar Mhaisalkar also said that Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh (VSS) they are heaven.
Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh President Manohar has also been presented an award by Pandit Hrudaynath Mangeshkar to Principal Ram Shewalkar Literary Worker in a function organized at Ameya Dalan of the Sangh on Friday.
In the last five years, Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Mahamandal has given awards in the honor of Ram to creative writers, language scholars, scholars, scholars and researchers of Sant Sahitya and literary activists.
Prakash Edlabadkar in his introductory speech has said that the Ram Shewalkar Literary Activist Award for the year 2021-22 has been given to Manohar, who is working in Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh since 1982.
Vanrai’s Girish Gandhi has said that the contribution of Manohar has been very important in the successful management of Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh. The gems of the literary world like him are becoming very rare and we must cherish them too.
Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh Future
Playwright Mahesh Elkunchwar and Girish were present here as chief guests. Kautikrao Thale-Patil presided over the program.
Manohar has said in his address that he started his journey by taking the responsibility of Ranjan Kala Mandir. I was never a poet or a writer at that time. It was my seniors who encouraged me to enter the world of literature.
The 87-year-old has speaking about the future of Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh, that it is time for seniors like me to step down and let the younger generation take charge. All the youth are fully capable of carrying forward the legacy of literature.
Elkunchwar has said that with the availability of education in rural areas of Maharashtra, the minds of the youth, who are excellent poets and writers, are emerging. And his novel ideas and thought-process literature can bring about a radical change in the whole world.
Girish also delivered the presidential address.
Treasurer Ramchandra Kalunkhe, Secretarial assistant Dada Gore, Vice-president Kapur Vasnik were also present here.
