Credit note, no refund, criteria for cancellation of wedding receptions

But the current restrictions on the number of guests have almost brought their own operations to a standstill and have also increased the demand for cancellation.

But learning a very difficult lesson from a similar situation during the second wave of covid, Some banquet and lawn hall owners are implementing the credit note system instead of issuing refunds. This means that the amount remains with the caterer and can be reimbursed against any party in the future.

During the second wave of covid, owners have found themselves struggling to issue refunds due to a liquidity crunch. Along with this, a lawn owner has said that he suffered a lot during the first and second wave of covid. The debt had piled up. The payment was also to be made for the stock raised so that any cash that came in was immediately flushed out. And then all the customers started canceling and there has been a huge controversy about it.

Customers are convinced their children and families

Because of this, this time all the big players are taking bookings with a very clear understanding between themselves and the customers. Another banquet owner has also said that he tells them that whatever the government’s guideline will be on that day, they will follow it well. If this means cancellation then no refund but a credit note will be issued.

A lawn owner has said that if customers are convinced that their children and families are safe in this crowd, Then what should be the responsibility of refusing us? If we strictly follow these rules then dozens of their workers will become unemployed.
