NCB gives clean chit to Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in cruise drug bust case
NCB has filed the charge sheet today where they have also acquitted Aryan of all the charges.
Aryan Khan, son of actors Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, was implicated in a drug case in the month of October last year. When the Narcotics Control Bureau raided a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. Aryan Khan was taken into custody along with some others during the nighttime on October 2. He was kept in judicial custody for about 28 days even before he was released on bail. Right now Narcotics Control Bureau has given a clean chit to Aryan in the cruise drug bust case.
NCB has filed the charge sheet today where they have also acquitted Aryan of all the charges. In its charge sheet, Narcotics Control Bureau has said that in the absence of sufficient evidence, complaints against about 6 people in the case are not being registered at all. And the complaint is also being registered against 14 other persons in this matter under the provisions of NDPS Act.
NCB press statement said that all the accused persons except Aryan and Mohak were found in possession of drugs Along with this, apart from Aryan Khan, Narcotics Control Bureau has given clean chit to Samir Sehgal, Avin Sahu, Gopal Anand, Bhaskar Arora, and Manav Singhal. Avin Sahu was the guest of a cruise ship and the other 4 persons were the organizers of the party itself.
In the month of March of the same year, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had reportedly found that Aryan Khan was not a part of this larger conspiracy at all. It is also reported that the Special Investigation Team said that “there is no evidence in any way that Aryan Khan was part of a larger drugs conspiracy or even an international drug smuggling syndicate”.
The officials have said that “Aryan Khan was never in possession of drugs at all, So there was absolutely no need to pick up his phone and check his chats in any way; The chat does not reveal at all that Khan was part of any international syndicate; According to the Narcotics Control Bureau manual, the raid was not video-recorded at all, And the drugs recovered from many of the accused who have been arrested in this case have also been shown as a single seizure.”
