“The film on the life of the great warrior emperor Prithviraj starring Akshay Kumar in the lead has been declared tax free in Madhya Pradesh. So that more and more youth watch and know about the film and inculcate in them the feeling of love for the motherland”, He tweeted in Hindi.

Earlier on Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the film very much after watching the special screening of the film in Lucknow and also said that it is worth watching. “It’s a really cool family film about our history and people should watch it with their families,” They said. He also announced the tax-free status of the film on Twitter.

The Chief Minister also presented ODOP products to actor Akshay Kumar, who was also present at the screening along with Manushi Chhillar.

‘Samrat Prithviraj’ is completely based on the life and valor of the fearless and mighty king Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay plays the same great warrior who fought valiantly to defend India from the ruthless invader Muhammad of Ghor in this visual spectacle.

The film is all set to release in the theaters on this Friday in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Meanwhile, Qatar has put a hold on the Akshay Kumar-starrer for the time being after Kuwait and Oman banned the release of ‘Emperor Prithviraj’.
