Futala Lake Multimedia Show gets delayed
When the Multimedia Show at Futala Lake was announced by the Union Transport Minister, Mr. Nitin Gadkari was announced in the media the news delighted many in Nagpur. This venture was meant to attract the tourists in Nagpur. The show would cover the history of Nagpur along with the life of Swami Vivekanda at Ambazari Garden. Later, the show at Ambazari Garden was canceled for some reason by the Maha Tourism Development Corporation or MTDC.
The tourism body then handed over to the Nagpur Improvement Trust. The NIT was supposed to execute the plan at Futala for the Multimedia show, but it seems that it has been delaying this project for no valid reason. As per reports, NIT has founded on the executive committee to take care of the same, and they have appointed one group Consortium of Studio One along with the Khalatkar Group for jotting down the script.
They are now working on the script, which will be handed over to the NIT officials. This has been done a month ago by the appointed agency and the NIT officials are yet to review the script and revert on that. However, the Committee at NIT claims that they have approved the same and the onus now rests on the agency who is supposed to come out with the same. As per reports, the show would be of half an hour’s time and the first ten minutes would be dedicated to the contemporary of the city followed by the rest of the time talks about the history of the city.
