Uddhav Thackeray’s first meet with the PM after taking the charge
There has been a lot of differences between BJP and Shiv Sena, post the assembly poll elections to form a government. BJP lost its reign to the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi Alliance of Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party and Congress. Earlier, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra who is a leader from the central-ruling BJP. Post the elections for the Chief Minister’s post in Maharashtra; there was a fallout between Shiv Sena and BJP.
The new Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. The CM met him in New Delhi. This was the first visit of the Chief Minister to the capital of the nation after taking the charge as the CM of Maharashtra. The Chief Minister was accompanied by his son Aditya Thackeray. He is also a minister in his cabinet. Uddhav Thackeray will also meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi. He will further proceed to meet veteran leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr L.K. Advani followed by a meet with Amit Shah, Union Home Minister.
The fallout between the two strong parties- BJP and Shiv Sena was over the post of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Shiv Sena formed an alliance called Maha Vikas Aaghadi government with the Congress Party and the Nationalist Congress Party post the fallout. This meet by Shiv Sena Chief and his son with the renowned political leaders may turn out to be fruitful for everyone, as is being expected by the public. This is definitely a great step from the Shiv Sena Chief.
