Free food distribution program amid COVID-19 Lockdown to help the poor and needy at Patrakar Bhavan from today
The novel coronavirus pandemic outbreak seems to have added a huge impact on the lives of everyone. The affected are the ones who have been involved in the daily wage workers and laborers. In the current situation, we see the Patrakar Club of Nagpur coming out with a food distribution program for them. The have collaborated with the city’s top mining company called MOIL or Manganese Ore India Limited. They will be organizing the free food distribution program at the said place located at Dhantoli for the poor and the needy people.
This free distribution of food program is going to start today and will continue in the entire lockdown period. It was Mr. Ravindra Thakre, the District Collector along with Mr. MP Chaudhari the MOIL Director (Production & Planning) and Mr. Dipankar Shome who would be kicking off this program sharp at 1.30 pm at the said location.
The others who would join the event include Club President Pradip Kumar Maitra, Secretary B S Tripathi, President of Nagpur Union of Working Journalists (NUWJ) and Shirish Borkar to name a few. The others include all the office-bearers of the Club, NUWJ and Patrakar Bhavan Trust who would be joining for the event. With this program, the daily wage workers would be seen getting benefitted the most. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
